You took the first step. What to expect next?

We meet you at a time when you are vulnerable, stuck and overwhelmed. It may have taken you a while to reach out for help. Schedule your first appointment today. Our office will reach out to you to discuss your mental health needs, availability, location, as well as collect your insurance information.

Prior to being scheduled for your first appointment you should be established with a primary care provider and have had a physical exam with any appropriate testing and laboratory data completed within the last 12 months. Annual physicals with your PCP are required thereafter.

Also, prior to your first appointment, you should activate the link to the patient portal which is the preferred method of communication because it is encrypted and conforms to HIPAA standards.

The first visit is an in-person evaluation and is meant to determine if you are a good fit for our practice and if the provider’s expertise meets your needs. We will assist with appropriate referrals as needed.

Most follow up appointments are conducted via telehealth.

Once we meet, we’ll spend some time getting to know your situation and your mental health needs. We’ll establish a treatment plan together based on your personal goals and we’ll work collaboratively towards achieving them. Treatment will begin after the second to third session. We can help.
